Family Tree DNA

IGS and Family Tree DNA Partnership

The Idaho Genealogical Society has partnered with Family Tree DNA to bring to our members a program which will provide considerable information in your search for ancestors.  Further, as a consideration to our membership, Family Tree DNA is offering a significant discount to members of the Society.

By signing up for the DNA project through IGS you may order DNA tests at a group rate, without first joining a surname, geographical or ethnic project.  The link below will take you to the Family Tree DNA site via our Group Project link.  In addition to being able to sign up through the project at a discount, the site has a link which will provide a tutorial on Learning to Use DNA For Your Genealogy.  Additionally, we have a project coordinator (Ms. Aulicino) who will assist you with your project research.

IGS is offering to the first three individuals to sign up with Family Tree DNA, one year free access to our electronic quarterly newsletter.

Click here to go to our project page, and then click on the Project Website link to sign up, or click on the Group Administrator link if you have questions.
